Rewind

Overview‍

Rewind is a LinkDM Pro feature allows users to send direct messages (DMs) to comments on Instagram posts and reels that are less than 7 days old. This is useful in several scenarios, such as switching from a competitors platform, forgetting to link a post, being new to LinkDM, or during periods of downtime on Meta.

Key Scenarios for Using Rewind

• Transitioning from Manychat or Instachamp.

• Forgetting to link a post.

• New users needing to respond to previous comments.

• Periods when Meta was down.

Comments Not Eligible for Rewind

• Comments older than 7 days.

• Comments from Ads.

• Comments from sponsored collaboration posts.

• Comments that have already received a DM auto-reply.

FAQs

Q. Can I use Rewind more than once?

A. Yes, you can use Rewind multiple times. Just click the (Completed) button to start Rewind on that post again. Be sure to add any extra keywords before you start the Rewind.

Q. How come I can’t rewind my post?

A. The most common reasons are: Your post is not linked or your post contains no comments.

Q. I forgot to link a post and now I have hundreds of comments that were not responded to. Can I use Rewind?

A. Yes, you can! First, link the post with the correct keyword, then navigate to Rewind and find the post. Click [Rewind this post] and follow the prompts!

Q. Do DMs sent with Rewind count towards my monthly total?

A. Yes.
