Broadcast analytics

After a Broadcast is sent, analytics will appear in the Sent section on the Broadcast feature page. Analytics may take around 60 seconds to start updating. Refresh the page to view the latest results.

Broadcast analytics include:

Sent: the number of DMs that were successfully sent
Opened: the number of users who opened the inbox thread
Clicks: the number of button clicks from the Broadcast DM
CTR: the click-through rate based on clicks from the Broadcast

Audience estimates

When creating a Broadcast, LinkDM shows an estimated number of active contacts for the audience you select. This estimate updates in real time.

➡️ If you choose Send Now, the Broadcast will send to the eligible active contacts at the moment you click send.

➡️ If you schedule a Broadcast, it will send to the eligible active contacts at the scheduled send time. This means new contacts who become active before the scheduled time may still receive the Broadcast.

Contacts becoming inactive

Active contacts are only eligible for a limited time.
On the Broadcast feature page, you may see a widget showing contacts that will become inactive in the next 60 minutes.
This helps you decide whether to send now or schedule the Broadcast for later.

Broadcast limits

During the beta phase, users can send 1 Broadcast every 24 hours.
Broadcasts can be scheduled up to 6 hours later.
Only active contacts can receive Broadcasts.

Not enough DM credits

If your account has used its monthly DM limit and has no purchased credits remaining, you will see a warning in Step 2.

You will need available monthly DMs or purchased credits before sending the Broadcast.

FAQ

Can I cancel a Broadcast after sending it?‍
No. If you choose Send Now, the Broadcast cannot be cancelled once it has been sent.

Can I stop a scheduled Broadcast?
Yes. Scheduled Broadcasts can be stopped from the Scheduled section before they are sent.
