Sending a Broadcast

Create your Broadcast

Go to Broadcast and click Send Broadcast. If you haven’t set up Broadcast yet, see this article first.

Step 1 - Compose Broadcast DM

Add a Broadcast name and choose the type of DM you want to send.

Broadcast currently supports:

Button Template
Message Template

More Broadcast message types may be added in the future.

If you choose Button Template, you can add your button destination, upload an image and preview how the DM will appear before continuing.
If you choose Message Template, you can send a text message and include up to 13 Quick Reply buttons that link users to DM content such as saved templates, lead gen or coupons.

Step 2 - Select Segment and Time

Choose who should receive the Broadcast.

You can send to:

All active contacts
A specific segment

LinkDM will show an estimated number of active contacts for the audience you select.

You can then choose to send the Broadcast now, or schedule it for later. Broadcasts can be scheduled up to 6 hours later.

Step 3 - Review and Send

Review your Broadcast name, selected audience, estimated recipients and send time. Once you confirm and send a Broadcast, it cannot be cancelled.

Scheduled and sent Broadcasts

Scheduled Broadcasts will appear in the Scheduled section on the Broadcast feature page.
You can edit or stop a scheduled Broadcast before it sends.
Broadcasts sent now will appear in the Sent section. Analytics will start updating after around 60 seconds. Refresh the page to view the latest results.
