Flow Automation

Overview

Flow Automation allows you to create a sequence of automated DMs within Meta’s 24-hour engagement window after a user interacts with your Starter DM. This feature helps increase clicks, sales, and lead conversions by automating follow-ups and reminders.

Key Features:

Starter DM: Opens Meta’s engagement window when a user clicks the CTA button.
Up to 10 Flow Automations: Automate messages within 24 hours.
Three Flow Types:
- Follower Growth Tool (FGT): Sends a DM only if the user is not following you.
- Reminder DM: Sends a follow-up if the user didn’t click the link.
- Custom DM: Send additional messages at custom time intervals.

How It Works

Navigate to Flow Automation: Found under the Automations dropdown (available for Pro users only).
Select Flow: You will see a list of flows, if none are created you can create a new flow automation.
Set Up a Starter DM: Instead of the originally requested DM, the Starter DM encourages users to click a CTA button to receive the intended message.
Add Flow Sequence: Choose from Follower Growth Tool, Reminder DM, and Custom DM.
Enable Flow Automation on Posts: Toggle the feature in the post settings.
Monitor Performance: View metrics such as Sent, Open, Click, CTR, and new followers.

Flow Automation Types

1. Follower Growth Tool (FGT)

Sent immediately after the Starter DM is clicked.
Only triggers if the user is not following the account.
Can only be set up once per Flow.

Can be set up multiple times per Flow.
Option to send if the user didn’t click the link in the originally requested DM.
Can be scheduled between 5 minutes and 24 hours after the Starter DM.

Important Rules & Limitations
‍

Only One Active Flow Per User: If a user engages with another post with Flow Automation enabled, the new Flow will override the existing one.
Starter DM is Required: No additional DMs will be sent if the user does not engage with the Starter DM.
Cannot Manually Trigger Flows: Automations only activate when a user comments on a post.
Editing & Deleting Flows: Users can edit time delays or delete flows, but removed flows won’t send.

A: If a user comments on another post with Flow Automation enabled while already in an active Flow, the new Flow will override the previous one, and the sequence will restart.

A: Yes, users can modify the CTA button text within the provided character limit. There are predefined placeholder texts, but they can be adjusted for better engagement.‍

A: Yes, each DM sent through Flow Automation counts as 1 DM credit. However, the Starter DM does not count as a DM sent, so it won’t deduct from your DM credits.

A: Yes, each flow (except the Follower Growth Tool) can have a custom time delay ranging from 5 minutes to 23 hours 45 minutes after the Starter DM is clicked.

A: All Flow Automations will immediately stop working once you downgrade from a Pro subscription.
