What is the Follower Growth Tool?

The Follower Growth Tool is a Flow Automation feature that helps you grow your Instagram followers by ensuring that only non-followers receive a specific DM after engaging with your Starter DM.

How It Works

When a user clicks the CTA button in your Starter DM, Flow Automation checks if they are following you.
If they are not following, the Follower Growth Tool DM is sent instantly.
If they are already following, the Follower Growth Tool DM will not send and will be skipped.

How to Set Up the Follower Growth Tool

Go to Flow Automation under the Automations menu.
Set up a Starter DM to initiate the 24-hour engagement window.
Click Add Flow and select Follower Growth Tool.
Customize your message within the allowed character limit.
Save and enable Flow Automation in your post settings.

Important Notes

The Follower Growth Tool DM is sent only once per Flow sequence.
This feature cannot be combined with multiple FGT messages in the same flow.
If a user comments on another post with Flow Automation, it will restart the sequence, including the FGT check.

FAQs

Q: What is "Retry Attempts"?

If the user clicks "Send me the link" on your FGT DM but they are not following, we will retry either 2, 3, or 4 times. On the next click, it will skip this and send the requested DM. This is a mechanism we have put in place in the unlikely scenario that we are unable to see the user's follower status.

Q: What is a "Button Name" when composing the Follower Growth Tool DM?

This is the button text the user needs to click once they are now following. Ideally, keep it clear and use something like "I'm now following!" or "Done, Send DM!"‍

Yes, on the Flow table, you will see how many New Followers you gained from this automation.
